IMPERFECTUM: Reconciliation with Nature

The theme “IMPERFECTUM” stands for the unfinished past and describes a state that has never been fully completed. In our modern world, where perfection is often sought, the Imperfectum reminds us that the imperfect is just as valuable and significant.

Reconciliation with nature is a central aspect of this theme. Our relationship with nature has always been complex and often marked by misunderstandings and conflicts. However, in accepting the imperfect, we find a way to reconcile with nature. It is about recognizing and appreciating the beauty in imperfection, both in nature and in ourselves.

Through art and creativity, we can express and promote this reconciliation. Artistic works that thematize the Imperfectum invite us to view nature in all its facets and renew our connection to it. They remind us that the pursuit of perfection often comes at the expense of natural beauty and diversity.

By embracing the Imperfectum, we open ourselves to a deeper, more authentic relationship with nature. We learn to appreciate the small imperfections that make life so unique and worth living. This reconciliation with nature is an ongoing process that encourages us to be more mindful and respectful of our environment.

MOTIVATION

I am very pleased about the opportunity to participate in your exhibition “IMPERFECTUM.” The themes of the unfinished past and the reconciliation with nature particularly appeal to me, as they are central elements of my artistic work.

My works often deal with the beauty of imperfection and the deep connection between humans and nature. Your exhibition offers a unique platform to bring these themes closer to a broad audience and to promote the dialogue about the acceptance of imperfection.

I am convinced that your exhibition is not only a great opportunity to present my works but also an inspiring experience for all involved. I look forward to showcasing my works in this special setting and engaging in exchange with other artists and visitors.
